Litchfield Land Trust headquarters is located on 28 Russell St. in Litchfield, CT. The “Station” building is a not-for-profit organization hub that also serves as the home for the Litchfield Hills Audubon Society, Litchfield Community Greenway, Litchfield Housing Trust, and Rivers Alliance of Connecticut.

The renovated building was the northern terminus and headquarters of the Shepaug Valley Railroad beginning in January 1872. Train service continued until 1948. The property was donated by Peter and Susan Aziz to the Litchfield Land Trust, Inc. on May 13, 2022. The building
was reconstructed with the support of a generous and vibrant community.
